Written by Sir Tim Rice, with music from the ABBA boys, Benny Andersson and Byorn Ulvaeus, Chess became one of the most successful shows of it’s time.  Not only do we see the battle for the world chess crown, with it’s own political implications, but also a battle for love.

Things are never going to be easy for the players, a Russian and an American, as their lives are to be manipulated by the KBG, the press, the traders and the public.

A mixture of musical styles come together to lead us through the story, including soft rock, light opera and traditional musical theatre.  One Night in Bangkok, Anthem, Heaven Help My Hear, and I Know Him So Well are just a few of the wonderful tunes to delight you in this award winning masterpiece.
